2. What data we collect
This is a static website — we have no backend, no database, and we do not directly collect or store any personal data.
We use two third-party services that may process data on their own infrastructure:
- Google Fonts — loads typefaces (Cormorant Garamond, DM Sans) from Google servers. Google may log your IP address as part of the font request. See Google's Privacy Policy.
- Google Maps — an interactive map embedded in the page, loaded only after you click "Accept" on the cookie banner. If accepted, Google may set cookies and log your IP address and usage data. See Google's Privacy Policy.
3. Cookies and local storage
We store a single item in your browser's localStorage:
hm_cookie_consent— records whether you accepted or declined Google Maps. This value stays in your browser only and is never sent to any server.
We use no tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or analytics of any kind.
4. WhatsApp communications
When you contact us via WhatsApp, your name and message are processed by WhatsApp (Meta Platforms, Inc.) under their own privacy policy. We use your message only to respond to your enquiry and will not share it with third parties.
5. Your rights under GDPR
As a resident of the EU/EEA you have the right to:
- Access — request a copy of any personal data we hold about you
- Erasure — request deletion of your personal data
- Portability — receive your data in a portable format
- Objection — object to processing based on legitimate interests
- Complaint — lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority
To exercise any of these rights, email us at housemistral@gmail.com.
6. International data transfers
Google is headquartered in the United States. Use of Google Fonts and Google Maps may involve a transfer of data outside the EU. Google participates in the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, which provides an adequate level of data protection recognised by the European Commission.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the website after any changes constitutes your acceptance of those changes.
